Diet and exercise to prevent acne

While a proper diet and exercise cannot completely prevent acne, they can reduce the occurrence of  acne to a some extent. Acne is usually seen on the face, back and upper arms of a person. 

A diet to minimize acne would:

1. Include leafy vegetables, fruits, and whole grain which contains a lot of fiber.

2. Drink plenty of water to keep the body well hydrated and flush out the toxins

3. Each food rich in beta-carotene, usually deeply colored fruits and vegetables - carrots, pumpkins, they contain antioxidants which keep the skin healthy.

4. Reduce the intake of milk, milk products, since they contain hormones which increase the oil produced by the oil glands

5. Avoid eating processed food, sweets, caffeinated drinks like tea, coffee

 

Any daily exercise like walking, skipping  which improves the blood circulation will reduce acne. Exercise also reduces stress, which is known to cause pimples.
